A new bar has been opened in Cardiff, Wales, where customers can enjoy 24 different wines through vending machines.

Glass of Bandol serves cheese and selected wines from all over the world, owned by the husband and wife team Sajan and Eva Glass.

The name of the new bar, Glass of Bandol, combines the couple's surname with a wine region in southern France where they fell in love with it while traveling a few years ago.

The salient feature of the bar is a row of vending machines designed to dispense 24 different wines in different sizes of pouring volume, from 50 ml to 175 ml. They store the wine at the correct temperature to prevent oxidation and keep the wine fresh.

According to Wales Online, Sayan said: “Many wines will come from unreasonable producers, some of which are organic, biodynamic, natural or vegetarian-friendly.”

Customers can use prepaid cards that can be recharged at the bar to provide themselves with wines from different countries and price points. Wines from lesser-known regions such as Lebanon and Georgia will appear in the selection.

Owner Sajan Glass also hopes that the new setting will encourage wine drinkers to try more high-quality sips.

"When you go to high-end bars and restaurants, people never buy an expensive bottle of wine; they usually choose the second cheapest wine on the menu or the cheapest wine by the glass. If you have a bottle of wine worth £100, people There may never be a chance to try it out and see what all the fuss is about. With this machine, people can buy more affordable small flavors," Sajan told Wales Online.

These wines will be paired with cheese, especially British products.
