The safety warning about Christmas trees looks like metal album art

The creepy Christmas tree safety warning issued by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC) has drawn observers to the similarities with the metal album artwork.

After all, the fiery skeleton it depicts is reminiscent of the horror atmosphere of many heavy metal album covers. And, as every metal madman knows, fire + bones = metal. (Insert the symbol of the corner emoji.)

Even the title of the warning message—a picture showing an ominous skeleton engulfed by flames, emerging from a tree decorated with festivals in an otherwise harmless environment—evokes a horror movie.

"Soon," said an accompanying tweet from the USCPSC, cruelly reminding consumers to water the trees. "Dry Christmas trees burn faster than newspapers," it explained.

Music director Cat Jones pointed out the severe alarm on the Internet, calling it "the most metallic PSA I have ever seen in my life." Others called it "fuck metal" and joked, "I want to listen to this album", and similar responses.

USCPSC shared the warning on Twitter for the first time last week (November 13). The agency quickly responded to the user's metal reaction, saying: "Welcome new fans from Skeleton Twitter, Metal Twitter and'Why do I find this skeleton attractive?" Twitter. "

USCPSC was established in 1972 to protect the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death associated with the use of different types of products.

"Death, injury, and property damage caused by consumer product accidents cause more than $1 trillion in losses to the United States each year," its website states. "The Consumer Product Safety Commission is committed to protecting consumers and families from products that can cause fire, electrical, chemical or mechanical hazards."
