Solar Seal, a custom manufacturer of architectural glass products located in southeastern Massachusetts, is preparing to expand further in New England. The company has signed a 10-year lease to build an approximately 200,000-square-foot factory in the Norwich Business Park, Connecticut, with options for renewal and expansion.

"We hope to develop an independent building or a business based on major projects that can promote top/global quality glass within our North American footprint," said Jeff Heinz, senior vice president of Solar Sealed Buildings LLC. "And because we already have an existing independent business with a wealth of knowledge and personnel in this field...between New York, Boston and Canada, we think that Connecticut is our ability to be in North America. The company's current plant in Massachusetts will continue to operate.
