The biggest night in the music industry is only a few months away, and the big names on this occasion have just been released. Billboard just shared the Grammy nominations for 2022, and young artists are receiving major nominations. Olivia Rodrigo and Finneas in particular received nominations for album, record and song of the year.

The two artists were also nominated as best newcomers, and Japanese Breakfast was nominated as best newcomers, and the latter released the critically acclaimed Jubilee in June. She also shared the soundtrack of the video game Sable in October.

These are the "Big Four" nominations, and each nomination has an impressive list of nominations. Brandi Carlile also won the Record of the Year nomination for "On Time" in "In These Silent Days." To celebrate this album, Carlisle will tour North America in the summer of 2022.

St. Vincent's Daddy's Home was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, and its producer Jack Antonoff was nominated as Producer of the Year. He also produced Lana Del Rey's Chemtrails Over The Country Club.

Mastodon's "Pushing The Tides" was nominated for best metal performance, which is a track from their album Hushed and Grim. Before the album's release in late October, the band also shared the song "Scythe and Peace", which consolidated the album's dark theme.

All categories and nominations for the 2022 Grammy Awards are listed below. The award ceremony will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31.
