Greenhouse builders join the Smart Greenhouse Alliance

ClearVue Technologies, an intelligent building materials company, has entered into a tripartite cooperation, aiming to develop a "smart greenhouse" system for agriculture by combining its patented solar window glass technology used to generate electricity in glass panels with machine learning and artificial intelligence management and control. The joint venture will allow ClearVue to collaborate with artificial intelligence analysis agency Foreste Technologies and data-driven agricultural expert Produsense.

According to the agreement, the partners' goal is to invest in a pilot project within one year to demonstrate their technical expertise in traditional greenhouses. If the test results are fruitful, the three will seek to sign a joint venture agreement and combine their knowledge, skills, intellectual property and marketing efforts to create a product, a smart greenhouse that can generate electricity through windows, for use in protected Australia and Planting industries all over the world.

Foresense is a software and hardware development company that specializes in real-time status analysis using its proprietary hardware, machine learning and artificial intelligence. Produsense is an entity partially owned by Foresense that brings expertise in data-driven agriculture to reduce food waste and extend shelf life, crop yields, and food safety. According to ClearVue, its operational expertise involves the production, refrigeration, transportation and delivery of agricultural products.

'We are very happy to work with two teams to explore the opportunities for smart greenhouses-smart data-driven greenhouses, using ClearVue's photovoltaic glass and the additional intelligence of Foreste and Produsense technologies. The purpose is to provide a highly controlled temperature range and an optimal growth environment for power generation for greenhouse operations delivered using ClearVue PV glass windows. When combined with Foresense and Produsense solutions, it aims to further improve the environmental control and management of the greenhouse. Optimize growth, yield, harvest time, energy use and water use," said Victor Rosenberg, Executive Chairman of ClearVue Technologies.
