Hope's Windows Inc. released Hope's Old World Suite, which is its fully developed, tested and certified product line. The company said that the new product uses thin arrow-shaped steel frame profiles, which represents a return to the old world style.

"This set of door and window profiles pays tribute to our century-old tradition as a custom manufacturer and our outstanding expertise in historical preservation," said Brian Whalen, Hope Sales Vice President. "We combined the unique aesthetics of hot rolled steel products in the early 1900s with the strength and performance that meet today's building code standards. The result is a unique luxury door and window system that is particularly suitable for the residential market."

The steel profiles of Hope's Old World Suite are very similar to the "three-point sash" profiles frequently used by the company in the early 20th century. Recently, Hope developed arrow-shaped steel profiles to meet the need for historically accurate, high-performance replacement steel windows for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard restoration project. The resulting steel profile replicates and retains the visual characteristics of the historic building. According to the company, the popularity of these configuration files has challenged Hope's to develop a complete product suite.

The product suite also includes Hope's Thermal Evolution technology.

The steel windows and doors of the Old World Suites provide narrow sight lines and can accept monolithic or insulated glass. Historically accurate contours and sight lines apply to new construction and replacement projects, as well as internal and external applications.

The main product features include: real and/or simulated split lite arrow muntins; unlimited fixed and operable window configurations; swing doors, pivot doors, sliding doors and folding door systems; and hot-dip galvanizing pretreatment and Hope's Power of 5 Organizing system.
